Peanut Butter Sauce, Hot
by Hilda van Roon

2 Tbsp Soy Sauce (thick & sweet kind)
    1 small Onion
1/2 cup Peanut butter (any kind)
1/3 cup Coconut butter (or coconut milk)
    1 Tbsp grated Ginger
    2 Tbsp Sesame oil
1/2 tsp hot paste, dried red pepper, or anything hot
1/4 cup Beef bouillon (use 1/4 tablet)
or Water + pepper + salt

o Chop the onion finely

o Put the oil with the finely chopped onion in a pan and cook, on medium high,
until transparent golden brown. Add the peanut butter and keep stirring.
Add the Soy sauce, Ginger, hot stuff, Coconut milk and Beef bouillon. Reduce
heat to about setting 4 or 5. Keep stirring! If the sauce gets to thick
(oil starts to float on top) add a bit more water and keep stirring under
  reduced heat.

o The soy-sauce is actually called 'Ketchap' and for good taste it must be the
thick-and-sweet kind, imported from Indonesia. (AA yellow label, etc.)

o This sauce is excellent for parties and as a dip!
